Polestar 1 Prototype starts production

Polestar, Volvo’s performance arm, has started prototype production of its upcoming Polestar 1 model. Construction of the first batch of 34 road-going verification prototype (VP) took place in Gothenburg, Sweden. Series production however, is set to take place at the new Polestar Production Centre in Chengdu, China. The initial fleet will be used for purposes such as crash-testing, weather testing and on-road assessments.
