Want our recommendation for a great road trip from Sydney? How about these routes from Season 1 of Drive TV
Looking for a picturesque and entertaining drive to keep the family entertained these school holidays?
Using Sydney as a base, here are the routes we took during Season 1 of Drive TV.
Episode 1 – The Armidale-Kempsey Road
In Episode 1, Trent took the Land Rover Defender on the scenic route between Armidale and Kempsey in northern New South Wales.
As historic as it is beautiful, the road needs you to ignore the satellite navigation and just head out for the drive!

Episode 4 – Colo Back Roads
In Episode 4, Sam took the back roads out of Colo, and made his way to the Off-Road-Rush racing facility to put the Ford Ranger Raptor X to the test.
There’s plenty to see on a mixture of paved and unpaved roads, that lets you get any four-wheel-drive properly dirty!
