2019 Mercedes-Benz CLA revealed

The next-generation Mercedes-Benz CLA has been officially revealed at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this morning, ahead of an Australian launch during the third quarter of 2019. Pitched by the German brand as the "most emotional vehicle in its class", the all-new CLA scores the same jump in technology and design as its A-Class and B-Class siblings, though sports a sexier 'coupe' silhouette.

2019 BMW 7 Series facelift leaked

The BMW 7 Series facelift has been leaked ahead of its official debut. This photo was posted by Stan Rudman, a businessman based in Miami Beach, Florida, on his Instagram account, and seems to have been taken at preview event hosted by BMW. The image seems to be authentic as it marries up nicely with earlier spy photos. The facelifted 7 Series has a completely reworked front end dominated by an oversized chrome grille clearly inspired by the one used on the recently unveiled X7 crossover.

2018 Mazda MX-5 1.5 review

The 2018 Mazda MX-5 remains the most sensible, budget friendly, and ‘connected’ roadster experience you can have. 2018 Hyundai Kona recalled

Hyundai Australia has issued a recall for turbocharged versions of the 2018 Kona crossover over concerns vehicles could experience compromised brake performance. The Korean brand reports a manufacturing issue may have caused the front brake tube to have been fitted incorrectly, which could come into contact with the exhaust system. Over time the brake line can be squashed or ruptured with prolonged contact, which Hyundai says will result in poor brake performance or even brake failure.

Mini JCW Millbrook Edition on sale from $57,275

Mini Australia has announced the JCW Millbrook Edition, a special version of its three-door performance hatch to be available in strictly limited numbers. Just 20 units will be offered locally, priced from $57,275 plus on-road costs. That's over $7000 more than the 'standard' JCW hatchback, though there are some specification upgrades to justify the extra spend.
