Owners of Lexus cars in Australian can now access a free loan car when holidaying in New Zealand. An expansion to the Lexus Encore Platinum ownership program introduced from this month means VIP members can access a free loan of a Lexus vehicle four times across the three-year membership period for up to eight days at a time.

Australian pricing and specifications for the 2022 BMW X3 M Competition and X4 M Competition performance SUVs have been confirmed, ahead of their local arrival in the fourth quarter of 2021 (October to December). Mirroring changes to their regular counterparts, the X3 M and X4 M gain more torque for Model Year 2022, plus revised front and rear ends, new active safety technology and BMW's latest interior styling (with a centre console from the 4 Series passenger car range).

Mazda Australia says it will take all the electric vehicles it can get

Once considered a laggard in the electric vehicle space, Mazda is set to introduce 13 electrified models by 2025 – and Mazda Australia wants as many of them as it can get. The parent company has previously indicated 13 electrified models are in the pipeline – three full electric vehicles (EVs), five plug-in hybrid EVs and five 'conventional' hybrids. The cohort of new-era vehicles is set to be followed by a dedicated electric-only platform that will lead the brand on to 2030.
