Victorian Government proposes new roadworks speed limit rules
Roadworks speed limits would be returned to normal outside of work hours, under proposed legislation from re-elected Victorian Premier, Daniel Andrews. Mr. Andrews posted on Facebook announcing the Government's plans to make "a new rule" so motorists aren't stuck going 40km/h past an "empty work site". Similar legislation has been tabled in past, but never enacted.

2009-2011 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe/Cabriolet join Takata recall
Mercedes-Benz has added the 2009-2011 E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet to the ongoing Takata campaign. As with all Takata recalls, affected vehicles are fitted with airbag propellant that can degrade over time through a combination of heat and humidity. If an impacted vehicle is involved in an accident, internal pressure can make the airbag inflator rupture, sending metal fragments shooting into the cabin. This poses a serious risk of injury, even death, to the vehicle's occupants.

2017/18 Honda Civic Type R recalled
Honda has recalled the 2017-18 Civic Type R, over concerns about the owner's manual. In one of the stranger recalls we've covered, some cars may have been supplied with an owner's manual missing certain required information. In other cars, the manual might not have been supplied at all. According to the company, having the incorrect information in the manual could make owners misuse or misunderstand things like the seatbelts, child anchorage systems, and vehicle notifications/warnings.

Hyundai with its Tucson is one of the main contenders, and frankly, it’s not hard to see why given its package of good looks, plenty of standard features, and a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty.
