2019 Honda HR-V pricing and specs

Honda has revealed pricing and specs for its revised HR-V SUV range, set to kick off at $24,990 before on-roads. There will be four models in the HR-V range: VTi, VTi-S, RS and VTi-LX. Power comes from a 1.8-litre four-cylinder petrol making 105kW and 172Nm, hooked exclusively to the front wheels through a continuously-variable transmission regardless of trim, as was previously the case.

Stunt driver Terry Grant has set a new record for the fastest mile on two wheels at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The time to beat was 2 minutes 55 seconds, and Grant manages the run in just over 2 minutes 45 seconds, shaving 10 seconds from his previous best. Tide turning for green cars: 'Majority of buyers' keen on hybrids
