Infiniti teases electrified concept for Pebble Beach

Infiniti has released a new teaser image of an "electrified performance concept" it will debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance at the end of the month. Not much has been revealed about the vehicle, but the image appears to be an overhead shot of the cockpit, which appears to be a one-seater speedster-style layout – Infiniti has revealed several retro-inspired concepts at previous Pebble Beach events.

Ferrari teases new supercar ahead of September launch

A new Ferrari supercar is set for launch in September, potentially with a roofless body and power from the 812 Superfast. The reveal will take place in Maranello, Italy on September 17, while the invitation bears the name 'Icona Ferrari'. The car appears to have the codename F176, while scuttlebutt has suggested it'll be based on the 812 Superfast.

Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Carbonio Edition arrives from $143,900

Alfa Romeo has revealed the Giulia Quadrifoglio Carbonio Edition, a limited-run flagship priced from $143,900 before on-road costs. Just 20 examples will be made for Australia, all finished in a choice of Trofeo White or Competitzione Red on the outside. A dark finish for the 19-inch alloy wheels is also standard, along with genuine carbon-fibre finishes for the grille, exterior mirrors, front door sills and the gearshift.

Volkswagen T-Cross teased again

Volkswagen has continued the long tease for its upcoming T-Cross compact SUV, this time talking up its practicality. According to the latest images, you'll be able to slide the rear bench to expand the boot from 385L to 455L. Folding the 60/40 rear bench opens up 1281L of space. The passenger seat backrest also folds flat, for the ability to carry longer items that otherwise wouldn't fit into a compact SUV.

2019 Skoda Fabia detailed, here in Q4

Skoda has revealed new details and images of the updated 2019 Fabia, ahead of an Australian launch later this year. While it hasn't gone under a full generational refresh like the MQB-based Seat Ibiza and Volkswagen Polo, the updated MY19 Fabia hatchback and 'Combi' wagon line-up offer a range of cosmetic updates, new driver assistance technologies along with upgraded interior trims.
